The Town of Shaunavon has purchased a new loader, a piece of equipment used pretty much daily year round.

Ron Phillips, Director of Operations for the Town of Shaunavon, says the new 2018 52G Case loader will be used for such chores as loading compost and gravel, leveling rough spots, lifting things, and clearing snow. He said that the Town has been using the old loader since 1998, and it was time for an update.

With the trade in of the old loader, the Town paid around $100,000 according to Phillips.

The loader was purchased from Redhead Equipment in Swift Current.
