Today's the last day you can drive across the border without a passport.

Starting tomorrow, Canadians over 16 need a passport to enter the US by land or sea.  The new document requirements are part of the Western Hemisphere Travel Initiative, which is to help increase security at border crossings.

Acceptable documents for entering the US include a passport, NEXUS card, or a FAST card.

You can apply for your passport at the Passport Office in Regina, or online at passportcanada.gc.ca.
