In the November 4 COVID-19 update from The Saskatchewan Health Authority they are reporting a total of 188 new confirmed cases of the virus in the province.

Of those 188 new cases there are 18 in the Far North West zone, 3 in the Far North East zone, 13 in the North West zone, 26 in the North Central zone, 33 in the Saskatoon zone, 24 in the Central East zone, 28 in the Regina zone, 3 in the South Central zone, and  27 in the South East zone.

There are 5 new confirmed cases in the South West zone - 2 in South West subzone 1, and 3 in South West subzone 2.

There are 8 new cases with pending residence information.

Eight cases with pending residence information were assigned as follows - 1 to the Far North West zone, 1 to the Far North East zone, 1 to the North West zone, 4 to the North Central zone,  and 1 to the Regina zone.

One repeated/duplicate case was removed from the North West zone.

More than one-quarter (26.1%) of new cases are in the 11 and under age category.

Almost two-fifths (38.1%) of new cases eligible for vaccination (aged 12  years and older) were fully vaccinated.

The seven-day average of new COVID-19 cases is 170 (14.1 new cases per 100,000 population).

That brings the provincial total number of cases to 78,262, of which 1,782 are considered active.

There are 36 active cases in the South West zone - 17 in South West subzone 1, and 19 in South West subzone 2.

The Weekly Monitoring Report for Children and Youth ages 0-19 years has been released for the week of October 18 - 24. There are 1,050 actives cases in children and youth in the province, 20 of which have location/residence information unavailable.

Breaking that down - there are 25 in the Far North West zone, 50 in the Far North East zone, 102 in the North West zone, 131 in the North Central zone, 20 in the North East zone, 23 in the Central West zone, 126 in the Central East zone, 257 in the Saskatoon zone, 132 in the Regina zone, 20 in the South Central zone, and 103 in the South East zone.

There were a total of 18 cases in the South West zone - 7 in South West subzone 1, and 11 in South West subzone 2.

There were no new deaths reported, leaving that provincial total at 862.

There were 170 recoveries reported, 4 of those in the South West zone, bringing the provincial total number of recoveries to 75,618.

There are 214 people in the hospital - 165 receiving inpatient care, and 49 in intensive care.

Of those 214 patients, 144 (67.3%) were not fully vaccinated.

There are 24 Saskatchewan residents in out of the province ICU's.

To date, there have been 1,234,050 COVID-19 tests processed in Saskatchewan.

And yesterday, there were 2,409 COVID-19 tests processed.

Of the 14,432 variants of concern cases identified by whole genome sequencing in the province, 7,123 are Alpha (B.1.1.7), 10 are Beta (B.1.351), 484 are Gamma (P.1), and 6,815 are Delta (B.1.617.2).

There were 3,357 COVID-19 vaccinations administered yesterday, 94 of those in the South West zone.

That brings the provincial total number of vaccinations given to 1,676,433.

There are now 802,376 Saskatchewan residents who are fully vaccinated.
