The sixth and final Crown petroleum and natural gas public offering of the fiscal year was held on Tuesday. The sale generated $251,672.11 in revenue for the province. Much of the activity from the sale was centred around the Lloydminster and Estevan areas. 

For the Lloydminster area, $113,947 was brought in for two parcels totalling just over 388 hectares, while $111,102 was brought in for the Estevan area, with five parcels totalling 518 hectares.  

The highest bid for a single parcel was $100,736 for 129.5 hectares near Lloydminster. This was awarded to the Soo Lone Resource Group, and is prospective for oil in the Mannville group. 

In all, there was $6,482,214 in revenues generated for the province through the six sales in the past fiscal year. The next public offering is scheduled for April 6th.
