An outbreak has been declared at the Gull Lake Special Care Centre due to the presence of signs and symptoms of an respiratory illness.

The outbreak affects the residents of long-term care services only and does not affect the health centre services, which are still available.

Under the guidance of Dr. David Torr, visitation restrictions have been put in place and until further notice will continue.

The Saskatchewan Health Authority is asking individuals that have been ill within the past seven days to refrain from visiting the facility to prevent the spead of illness.
