Outbreak Of Norwalk-like Illness In Gull Lake

The Public Health department have declared an ‘outbreak’ at the Gull Lake Special Care Centre due to several long term care residents experiencing signs and symptoms of Norwalk-like illness.

Due to the declaration, visitor restrictions have been put in place to assist in preventing the spread of the illness. Individuals requiring access to the Health Centre’s emergency outpatient department will not be affected by the restrictions.
