He says there have been a number of similar cases reported throughout the community.
The Cypress Health Region has declared an end to the "outbreak" of Norwalk-like virus at the Gull Lake Special Care Centre.
Dr. David Torr, Consulting Medical Health Officer for the Cypress Health Region says with the change in status, visitors are again welcome.
"Visitors will be allowed to come and see their relatives, we of course (will request) that anyone who is ill should not visit."
Dr. Torr says all residents with the Norwalk-like virus are in the recovery stage, but there are a couple of staff members still dealing with symptoms.
