This past Tuesday April 16 Shaunavon RCMP arrested and jointly charged two people with theft of a vehicle, theft over $5,000, and possession of property obtained by crime.

Twenty seven year old Heather Lentz and twenty six year old Mark Verbrugge-Mcneill were located and arrested at a Shaunavon residence, which was subsequently searched with a search warrant.

A 2006 Suburban, recently stolen from Eastend, was recovered and other stolen property was recovered from the residence and the garage.

The pair is also believed to be connected to recent thefts from unlocked vehicles in the Shaunavon and Eastend area, as well as an oil field break and enter.

Lentz was released on condition, with her next court date happening in Shaunavon on July 4. Verbrugge-Mcneill was held in custody and his matters were in court in Swift Current on April 17.
