This morning in Swift Current Provincial Court, Colin Perrault and Rebecca Kuhlman elected to proceed by judge and jury as they face second-degree murder charges in the 2016 death of Logan Ring.

Co-accused, Todd Donaldson, also appeared by video in court. All three have appearances coming up March 9 as preliminary hearings are set up.

Colin Perrault's daughter Tanisha Perrault and wife Jolene Epp (Tanisha's mother) are the others charged with second-degree murder, but are out on bail.

The five were charged in early October, 2017 after Ring's body was found at Saskatchewan Landing Provincial Park in November, 2016.
