A previous Southwest Crisis Services' Duck Derby in conjunction with Innovation Credit Union's Picnic Inn the Park
A long-time tradition in Swift Current returns this Sunday with Innovation Credit Union's 31st Annual "Picnic Inn the Park".
It goes from 1:00 to 5:00pm at Riverside Park with live music, games and activities for the kids, and the Southwest Crisis Services' Duck Derby.
Cynthia Lenz with the Credit Union said the food is arguably one of the most popular parts, especially when they're going at old-fashioned prices.
"We go through a lot," explained Lenz. "Especially on a hot, summer day the ice cream will be going out the door. Hot dogs, we always have a lot of them, are cheap - just 50 cents."
The weather should be nice for Sunday, but if it does turn bad, the picnic will be moved to Kinetic Exhibition Park.
