Wearing a helmet, being a designated driver and picking up trash could get you... pulled over by the police?

The Swift Current Drug Task Force is once again pairing up with Swift Current RCMP, EMS and Fire Department for "Positive Ticketing".

Constable Lindsay Wudrick of the Swift Current RCMP, and Drug Task Force member, says the program has been running in Swift Current for three years.

"It's to try to engage the youth and people in the community for doing positive deeds, instead of the police, fire or ambulance always dealing with somebody when they're in crisis, or us catching them when they're doing something bad," explains Const. Wudrick.

Coupons this year include tanning minutes, ice cream, pizza and mini golf, gym and pool passes.

Positive Ticketing begins this weekend and goes all summer.
