UPDATE: SaskPower tweeted at 2:17 that power has been restored.

SaskPower has dispatched service personnel following a power outage impacting several communities.

The Crown corporation said Swift Current, Hodgeville, Waldeck, Herbert, Rush Lake, and the surrounding rural area have been affected.

The Swift Current Online newsroom received a call saying that power is out in the southeast part of Swift Current.
