Patients dealing with colorectal cancer in Saskatchewan finally got their wish on Wednesday.

The government is saying they will cover the use of Avastin in patients here in the province, a drug that’s said to help extend and ease the life of its users.

With doses costing around $2000 each, it’s expected that around 80 patients will be eligible to receive the benefits of the new announcement.
