With just over a month left until the vote here in Saskatchewan, politicians are ramping up their efforts to get your vote.

Advertising has increased, door knocking is happening every day, and flyers are being delivered all the time. Each party will tell you they're the best for the job of running the province. But what do people on the outside think?

Murray Mandryk is a political columnist with the Regina Leader-Post and has over two decades of experience when it comes to Saskatchewan politics.

His early prediction is a Saskatchewan Party win.

Mandryk believes the election could come down to a simple battle of Brad Wall or Dwain Lingenfelter as premier, saying there really aren't a lot of blockbuster issues in this campaign, at least not yet.

He adds union influence could be a factor in the last few weeks.  Over the last nine months, there has been strike after strike by unions, who traditionally support the New Democrats, saying their members are not feeling the effects of the economic boom in Saskatchewan.
