It's helped buy much-needed equipment for Swift Current's Cypress Regional Hospital over the last two years, and it returns for a third year on Country Music Radio next week.
The "Your Family's Health Radiothon" goes live for 28 hours to raise money for the Dr. Noble Irwin Regional Healthcare Foundation.
Val Hartley, Director of Cypress Regional Hospital, says they've had a long-standing and teriffic relationship with the Dr. Noble Irwin Foundation and their efforts have helped purchase equipment that the hospital might not necessarily have been able to purchase.
She's hopeful the great support the southwest has given to the first two radiothons will continue for this upcoming one.
The Radiothon will be broadcast from the lobby of the Hospital from 1:00pm September 22, to 5:00pm the following day.
