The 3rd Annual "Your Family's Health Radiothon" starts this afternoon in support of the Dr. Noble Irwin Regional Healthcare Foundation.
The radiothon will be broadcast live on CKSW 570 in Swift Current and CJSN 1490 in Shaunavon, from the Cypress Regional Hospital in Swift Current for 28 hours to help raise money to help purchase some much needed equipment for the hospital.
Foundation Executive Director Clay Thompson says final preparations for the radiothon have gone well and he's been pleased with the number of volunteers that have stepped up to help with the annual event.
Over the last two years, a total of $230,000 has been raised through the southwest's support.
