The Pontiex RCMP are searching for a 63-year-old man who went missing in Grasslands National Park earlier this week.

On Wednesday Donald Stoliker of Newburgh, Ontario, disappeared near the south access route in the west block of the park.

Police describe him as slight build, with glasses, short dark hair flecked with grey, walks with a slight limp.

He was last seen wearing a black t-shirt, faded blue jeans, carrying a light-coloured backpack with sleeping roll attached.

Park officials and RCMP say they're concerned for Stoliker's well-being as he has health issues.

Police haven't released a photo of Stoliker yet.
