An Advanced Care Paramedic from Moose Jaw, who is traveling the province taking photographs of emergency crews, made a stop in Swift Current earlier this week.

Nick Hennink talks about his journey. "I am one of the few, or many I guess, that suffered with PTSD, and found myself in a dark place. Long story short, I eventually reached out for help. It was one of the hardest things I've ever did. And I'm going around Saskatchewan taking pictures of emergency crews, just to recognize and honor these emergency crews for what they do."

So far, Nick has visited 25 organizations, with about 50 left to photograph. He says the pictures are shared on his social media pages, as well as other social media pages including the Canadian Mental Health Association and Osican.

Hennink was also chosen as the CBC Future 40 winner.
