Southwest Saskatchewan once again showed strong support for the Your Family's Health Radiothon on Country Music Radio.

The third-annual fundraiser pulled in $220,408 for the Dr. Noble Irwin Regional Healthcare Foundation, the highest total ever, as it wrapped up at 5:00pm Friday. The money goes to support the foundation as they look to purchase much-needed equipment for the Cypress Regional Hospital.

That total was bolstered by a $100,000 donation from Swift Current's Lee Family to fund a new simulation suite at the hospital. Other major donations include $35,000 from Cenovus Energy, and $10,500 from Swift Current and District EMS.

Although the Radiothon is over for another year, you can continue to contribute to the Dr. Noble Irwin Regional Healthcare Foundation by contacting their offices, or visiting their website.
