The Red Cross continues to help Saskatchewan families, months after their lives were turned upside down by heavy rain and flooding this summer.

About 240 families were left struggling as a result of storms that drenched homes and damaged property in a number of communities.

The Red Cross says at the height of the crisis, 140 volunteers worked a total of 4500 hours to help flood victims.

The organization says it's still working to ensure families are set for winter by replacing clothing and other items ruined by high water.
