Registration is still open for "Survive or Succeed - It's Our Choice" October 25th at the Sky Centre in Swift Current.

The event, hosted by the Southwest Enterprise Region, is geared toward municipal and business leaders in our region to help develop a plan for the future involving things like broadband infrastructure.

SWER CEO Kelsay Reimer says they've invited Robert Bell, co-founder of the Intelligent Community Forum, to speak at the event.

Also scheduled to speak at the event is Saskatchewan radio talk-show host John Gormley.

Reimer adds there's already representatives from several rural southwest communities planning to attend the event, and you can register online at southwestsask.ca until Tuesday.
