Wear pink and stand up to bullies.

The Chinook School Division is trying to raise awareness as part of "International Stand Up to Bullying Day" on November 18.

"Sometimes we think it's just that one person that needs to stand up, but when you see an act  of disrespecting your hallways, it's ok for everybody to take a stand", says youth worker Carlin Darby from the Chinook School Division.

Next week, they are encouraging the public to wear pink as a sign that bullying will not be tolerated within our communities.

There will be activities, movies, presentations, displays, and contest throughout the week as well.
