The T. Rex Discovery Centre in Eastend

Eastend's most famous resident is heading... East.

Scotty the T. Rex is headed to Ontario where his bones will be molded and cast to create a mounted skeleton for the Discovery Centre in Eastend.

Director of the Royal Saskatchewan Museum Harold Bryant:

“This is going to be very positive for the T. Rex Discovery Centre, that their visitors will get to see this mount, and I think it's broader than that, I think (it's) exciting from a Saskatchewan level. We are having a second cast made that we would hope to do something with a the Royal Saskatchewan Museum.”

Bryant expects the mounted skeleton will be ready by next March.

He's hoping Scotty's bones will be back in Eastend before that.
