Sentencing will be handed out exactly one week after last Friday's theft in Swift Current.

Stuart Serson of Regina has had his self-represented case adjourned until 9:30 am on February 24th, after a brief appearance in Swift Current Provincial Court yesterday afternoon.

Serson was originally in court on Tuesday where he pleaded guilty to a charge of theft under $5,000 stemming from an incident at a Swift Current business on February 17th. He also pleaded guilty to a Regina-based charge of a breach of probation from September 2016.

Judge Karl Bazin has ordered the adjournment to take both the Crown's and Serson's sentencing requests into consideration before presenting his final his decision Friday morning in Swift Current Provincial Court.
