It's been just over 13 months since the Saskatchewan government combined 13 health regions into one.

Since then the Saskatchewan Health Authority has nearly cut the number of senior executive level positions in half from 125 to 66.

The reduction of jobs is expected to continue, the SHA said in a release.

"There is expected to be a further reduction at the Director level, though exactly how many positions will be reduced during this phase of our process has not been finalized yet."

It's unknown how many former Cypress Health Region employees have been let go since the amalgamation.
