Last year's Equity Days drew a good crowd to the Shaunavon Home and Agro Center to pick up their cheques.

The Annual Shaunavon Co Op Equity Days celebrations are happening around the southwest this week.

Today, Equity Days in Shaunavon will be held at the Marketplace Food Store. There will be a hamburger lunch from eleven a.m. until one thirty p.m. with all proceeds going to the Shaunavon Handi Van Association.

Tomorrow, Equity Days in Bracken go in the Bracken Hall with breakfast from eight until ten a.m. All proceeds in Bracken go to the Bracken Hall.

And, also tomorrow, Equity Days will be held in Eastend at The Eastend Agro Center with a beef on a bun lunch from eleven thirty a.m. until one p.m. The silver collection there will go to The Friends of Pine Cree Park.

Members are encouraged to stop in and pick up their cheques at those times.

Equity allocation for 2016 is nearly $275,000 and Shaunavon Co Op General Manager, Kevin Braun, says a portion of the equity allocation is paid to members at Equity Days, while remaining funds will be deposited into member's equity accounts.

If members are unable to pick up their cheques during Equity Days, they can stop by the Shaunavon Co Op Administration Office starting June 21st. Any cheques not picked up by June 30th will be mailed out.
