Bridge Road Developments Limited held a public information meeting in Shaunavon this past Thursday is discuss the possibility of building a new adult living facility.
Ken Rempel, sales and marketing manager for Bridge Road Developments says they had a good turn out at the meeting with lots of questions asked.
“For a community that size we're suggesting that they build a 24 suite unit. It'll be parking on the first level, with heated floors, indoor parking, with storage in front of the vehicles so they're very roomy. And then three levels of suites above that with balconies for every suite.”
Rempel says there are some questions to be answered before moving forward.
“The next step will be finding the right location to build it and getting a shareholder group together because these things are owned by local people, and they run them locally.”
The company is currently building in ten locations and have more than 20 already in operation.
