Shaunavon RCMP are asking for the public`s assistance in identifying the driver of a vehicle that struck a pedestrian and left the scene.

The incident happened in the alley behind JB`s Restaurant in Shaunavon on Friday July 29th at approximately 1:30 P.M.

The vehicle is described as an older red Honda Civic with Alberta license plates. The driver is believed to be a female, however no description was provided.
