The former Jubilee Arena site is now home to Shaunavon's new Skate Park.
The concrete equipment which includes such features as quarter pipes, grind rails,pyramid corners and stairs will hold a Grand Opening this Saturday. From 1:00 to 2:00pm, come out for Skateboard Demos featuring Alarm Skateboards, then from 2:00 to 4:00pm, there will be Skateboard clinic.
Total cost of the project was $100,000.
New playground equipment has been purchased as well and will be erected at the same location at a later date.
