A snowfall warning is in effect for the Shaunavon, Maple Creek, Val Marie and Cypress Hills areas.

Environment Canada says total amounts of 15 to 20 centimeters are expected.

A disturbance tracking southeastward across southern British Columbia is bringing snow to the extreme southwestern corner of Saskatchewan this morning.

The snow will continue to fall today and amounts of 10 to 15 centimeters are expected before tapering off late this afternoon or early this evening.

The snowfall amounts are expected to be heaviest to the west and the southwest in the Shaunavon region, as you head towards the Alberta border and the International border.
