Rain In Swift 4

A nasty spring storm is hitting southwest Saskatchewan, with strong winds and rain expected to continue for much of today.

A wind warning has just been issued by Environment Canada for the Swift Current and Leader areas, where wind gusts of up to 90 kilometres per hour are possible this afternoon, and 25 millimetres of rainfall is expected before tonight.

In the Cypress Hills area, snow is the story. Up to 20 centimetres of heavy, wet snow is expected to fall in that area, and the winds are also expected to gust up to 90km/h. A weather warning that was issued for that area this morning has continued into the afternoon.
