Southwest Crisis Services

The province is increasing funding by 1.6 percent to community-based organizations that assist people experiencing interpersonal violence and abuse.

Ministry of Justice Communications Consultant Noel Busse said that includes organizations in the southwest, “In Swift Current we have Southwest Crisis Services and in Moose Jaw theres a transition house located in Moose Jaw that will also be recieving funding”

Busse adds, “With this increase both organizations will be recieving over half a million dollars from the Government of Saskatchewan through the Ministry of Justice.”

The province-wide funding increase amounts to 152 thousand dollars.
