One of the biggest annual fundraisers for the Swift Current SPCA kicks-off today.

The 5th Annual John Mueller Memorial SPCA Radiothon starts this morning at 9:30 a.m. and will be broadcast on Magic 97.

Larry Johnson, is the president of the Swift Current SPCA, said it was easy to name the event after John Mueller because of his generosity.

"He owned Swift Current Building Supplies and he is a pet lover," he said. "Each year they donate thousands of dollars to this program."  

The live broadcast goes until 6:30 p.m. on Magic 97.
