The Saskatchewan Government has released the numbers from the final year of operating for STC, showing the provincial bus company posted a loss of $34.2 million. Revenue was listed at $14.9 million with $49.1 million in operating expenses. Last year they carried over 185,000 passengers over 4.5 million kilometres between 253 communities.

The NDP, who was against the shutting down of STC,  is accusing the Sask Party of trying to make the numbers look worse than they were, pointing to the financial statement from a year ago where they said shareholders were getting a good return on their investments.

STC shut down on May 31st, a decision that was made public with the Spring Budget and prompted demonstrations around the province.
