A precautionary drinking water advisory for the Village of Stewart Valley has been put in place.

It's recommended that you boil water for at least one minute before use.

This includes for drinking purposes, washing of fruits, and vegetables, and brushing teeth.

It's recommended that you don't consume water from any tap or public drinking fountain with water from the public water supply and that you use an alternative water source until the advisory is no longer in effect.

Stay tuned for any updates on the situation. Often it can take 48 to 72 hours for further results on water tests.
