The decision of whether or not to press charges in the death of a 25-year-old Swift Current man is now in the hands of Crown Prosecutors.

The Regina Major Crimes Unit and Forensic Identification Unit have passed their findings on to Crown Council.

The 25-year-old died in hospital on Sunday morning after Swift Current RCMP were called to an altercation shortly after 1:00am.

An autopsy was ordered yesterday and has since been performed; however, police say they will not be releasing the cause of death or any further information at this time.
