A Swift Current man made his first court appearance for charges of Abduction of a Child Under the Age of 14, and Invitation to Sexual Touching.

During Jug Gill's appearance, it was also learned that there was an outstanding warrant for Breach of a Conditional Sentence stemming from an Alberta fraud charge.

The outstanding warrant was issued in 2003 by Calgary City Police after Gill had left his residence.  He will be serving 26 days in jail for the Breach of his Conditional Sentence.

Gill's next court appearance for the remaining two charges is on April 23rd for plea or election.
