Three people are fortunate to escape serious injury after an SUV and train collided Friday night in Swift Current.
City emergency crews were called to an uncontrolled rail crossing on South Railway Street East near Kinetic Exhibition Park at around 7:00pm, where the vehicle was involved in a collision with the Canadian Pacific Railway locomotive.
The three people inside the SUV suffered only minor injuries, despite their vehicle being heavily damaged.
RCMP and CP Police continue to investigate the incident.
