The Swift Current Library

It's Earth Day on Sunday, and the Swift Current Library is getting a head start on things by holding an event for kids Saturday morning.

"We're starting the morning at 10:00am with a bunch of recycling crafts," said Library Clerk Dawn Stark. "We're recycling paper, plastic and material into various crafts for kids of various ages, and maybe even a few adults. Then at 11:30am, we're having a puppet play."

Stark adds preserving the Earth is really important, and the library wants to do their part to get the message out to our kids.

They will also have a pizza party at noon to celebrate the end of their Read-A-Thon.
