Swift Current's Betty McDougall is this year's recipient of the Saskatchewan Recreation and Parks Association 'Volunteer of the Year' award.

McDougall has logged numerous hours serving as a volunteer with various organizations around the city. She was nominated by the City of Swift Current, and says she's thrilled to win, but gives credit also to all other volunteers across various organizations.

McDougall will be in Saskatoon tonight to receive the award at SPRA's annual banquet.
