Saskatchewan teachers are going back to a regular work schedule and that means sports, drama, choir and other extra-curricular activities are back on and schedules will need to be altered accordingly.

The two sides in the labour dispute have agreed to bring in a mediator to help them come a little closer on what is being offered and what's being demanded when it comes to a new contract.

The Saskatchewan Teachers Federation is calling for a 16% raise over 3 years while the province is offering 6% over the same time.

While negotiations are happening with the mediator, teachers have suspended all job action.
