Codie Prevost, seen here performing at last spring's SCMA Awards Gala in Swift Current, will be making his first appearance at Telemiracle this March.

It's a mix of old favourites and rising stars in the national cast for Telemiracle 36.

Country music star Codie Prevost, who took home six awards at last year's SCMA Awards in Swift Current, will be one of the newcomers to the popular 20-hour telethon, as well as Canadian rock band Honeymoon Suite. Also in the cast, released by the organizers last night, are Victoria Banks, Jeffrey Straker, Leah Daniels, the Heartbroken, and Jimmy Rankin.

Returning this year will be Brad Johner, Beverley Mahood, Donny Parenteau, Andrea Menard, and Sesame Street's Bob McGrath, who will be making his 35th Telemiracle appearance.

In addition, 48 performers from all over Saskatchewan, including Swift Current's Central School Choir, will be taking to the stage for the telethon, which will raise money to help people with special needs in our province.

Telemiracle 36 goes March 3rd and 4th at the Conexus Arts Centre in Regina.
