March the first till the tenth was The Go Out and Play Challenge powered by Saskatchewan Blue Cross and Saskatchewan In Motion.

The Challenge encouraged communities in the province to be physically active every day and register their minutes of activity.

This year's winner of the $10,000 grand prize went to the community of Kenaston.

The Town of Shaunavon was a part of the Challenge this year, and Director of Wellness and Leisure, Dana Dale, says, that even though the town didn't win, the community came together to log their minutes of physical activity. She added, "We ended up being 22nd, I believe, overall and Shaunavon, over the ten days, logged 10,055 minutes of physical activity."

The winner of the $5,000 prize in the Challenge was the community of Stockholm, and the winner of the $10,000 Community Association Prize was Saskatoon Lakeridge.
