In the November 24 COVID-19 update from The Saskatchewan Health Authority they are reporting a total of 90 new confirmed cases of the virus in the province.

Of those 90 new cases there are 6 in the Far North West zone, 4 in the Far North East zone, 7 in the North West zone, 7 in the North Central zone, 2 in the North East zone, 19 in the Saskatoon zone, 2 in the Central West zone, 10 in the Central East zone, 12 in the Regina zone, 2 in the South Central zone, and 19 in the South East zone.

There are 11 cases with pending residence information which have been assigned as follows - 1 to the Far North East zone, 6 to the North West zone, 1 to the North East zone, 1 to the Saskatoon zone, 1 to the Central East zone, and 1 to the South Central zone.

One-third (33.3%) of new cases are in the 20 to 39 age category.

Almost one-half (45.1%) of new cases eligible for vaccination (aged 12 years and older) were fully vaccinated.

The seven-day average of new COVID-19 cases is 95 (7.9 new cases per 100,000 population).

That brings the provincial total number of cases to 80,571, of which 994 are considered active.

There are 29 active cases in the South West zone - 3 in South West subzone 1, and 26 in South West subzone 2.

There are no new deaths reported today, leaving the provincial total number of deaths at 914.

There are 110 recoveries reported, 2of those in the South West zone, bringing the provincial total  number of recoveries to 78,663.

There are 148 people in the hospital - 111 receiving inpatient care, and 37 in intensive care.

Of those 148 patients, 99 (66..9%) were not fully vaccinated.

There are 7 Saskatchewan residents receiving out of the province care in hospital.

To date, 1,267,853 COVID-19 tests have been processed in Saskatchewan.

And yesterday, there were 2,091 COVID-19 tests processed in the province.

Of the 15,727 variants of concern cases identified by whole genome sequencing in the province, 7,123 are Alpha (B.1.1.7), 10 are Beta (B.1.351), 484 are Gamma (P.1), and 8,110 are Delta (B.1.617.2).

There were 1,366 COVID-19 vaccinations administered yesterday, 44 of those in the South West zone.

That brings the provincial total number of vaccinations given to 1,714,522.

There are now 829,689 Saskatchewan residents who are fully vaccinated.
