RCMP Detachment in Shaunavon


Mischief and theft under $5000 have Shaunavon RCMP asking for the public`s assistance.

Sometime between November 1st and November 14th a Plazma Cutter as well as some diesel fuel was stolen from a vacant farm on the 613 grid next to the Frenchman River and over the course of five months and as recently as three weeks ago, sometime between November 2nd and 9th gasoline was stolen from the Climax town truck.

If you have information on these or any other crimes please contact your nearest Police service or RCMP. You can also contact Saskatchewan Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477. If your information leads to an arrest or a case being cleared you may be eligible for a cash reward of up to two thousand dollars.

Meanwhile, Rural RCMP are investigating approximately $4000 in damage to a railway crossing along Highway 37. An arm, lights and signs were all broken after a semi was reported to be stuck on the cement barricades while attempting a turn, back on November 21st around 7:00 pm. The semi is reported to be black in colour and was hauling a white trailer at the time of the incident.
