Another train derailment in southwestern Saskatchewan, this time in the village of Beechy.

The train went off the rails sometime Sunday morning and was blocking both lanes of traffic on highway 342 for roughly a day.

Two cars were involved in the incident, with one completely blocking road forcing a detour to be set up with traffic being rerouted through the school parking lot.

The cars were cleaned up by Monday evening with the highway re-opening.

Swift Current Online reached out to Mobil Grain who acquired the rail line in fall of 2011 and is awaiting comment.
