The lighting of the Christmas Tree in downtown Swift Current has become an annual tradition in our community

 

Christmas carols, hot chocolate, and a visit from Santa.

Those are just a few of the things you'll see this evening as the Swift Current Downtown Business Association hosts the lighting of the Christmas Tree.

Chuck Audette is with the DBA, and says it should be a great evening to enjoy the annual event, with temperatures well above average for this time of year.

The lighting and the arrival of Santa is set for 7:00 pm, there will also be horse carriage rides.
