Yesterday Justin Trudeau dealt with a number of questions from both sides of the policial spectrum at a town hall meeting in Regina.

Unsurprisingly, major topics were pipeline development, the carbon tax, and immigration.

But after things got heated in his first stop on the tour, Saskatoon-Grasswood Conservative MP Kevin Waugh liked the change of pace last night.

"[Trudeau] went into a hornet's next in Kamloops B.C. earlier this week. So he came to Saskatchewan and I thought last night the town hall was very respectable. There was some of course on the pipeline issue, others were on the environment issue, there was both sides of the equation were in the same gymnasium, and yet they were very professional."

Waugh liked that Trudeau was questioned about not doing enough to get oil to the market.

Waugh also said the highlight for him was when Courtland Klein of Evraz Place questioned Trudeau over signing the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement while it included tarrifs on steel and aluminum.
