A fog advisory is in effect for a number of areas in southwest Saskatchewan, including Swift Current.

The advisory, which was issued by Environment Canada at 4:29 p.m. yesterday, remains in place for Swift Current, Kyle, Cabri, Herbert, and Lucky Lake.

There was near-zero visibility in a lot of areas yesterday, creating difficulties for motorists.

There's no word yet on what might have caused a motor-vehicle collision on Highway 4 south of Swift Current yesterday, or the extent of the incident, but visibility was very poor at the location.
