Southwest Saskatchewan has finally escaped from under the arctic cold that froze the province this past week.

We hit a high of -1.4 in Swift Current yesterday, much warmer than the -30 degree range that we were in for much of this past week. A high of -7 is expected today.

Temperatures will stay around zero for much of the new week, and a high of +5 is being called for Thursday.
